Education and Training

For his B.A., Mark Y. Ivens, M.D. attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville(1975) where he received Highest Honors and was named Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his M.D. at the University of Tennessee in Memphis(1978). Following medical school, he completed his internship in Knoxville at the University of Tennessee Hospital(1979) before returning to Memphis to complete his residency at the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences from 1980-1983.

Hobbies & Interests

In his free time, Dr. Ivens enjoys golfing, skiing, basketball, and racquetball.
