Education and Training
Dr. Bobby W. Douglas attended Carson Newman College in Jefferson City where he received his B. A. in Psychology (2004). He received his Doctor of Medicine in 2015 from the James H. Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City, TN, where he attended from 2011-2015. He completed his internal medicine internship at Baylor Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX, and his ophthalmology residency at the Baylor Scott and White Eye Institute in Temple, TX (2016-2019) where he was Chief Resident.
Background
Dr. Douglas is a Resident Member of the American Board of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery as well as a member of the Christian Medical Dental Association and the Texas Medical Association.
He currently specializes in Cataract Surgery and Laser Refractive Surgery (LASIK).
Hobbies
In his free time, Dr. Douglas enjoys running, hiking, traveling and most outdoor activities.
