Dr. Darin S. Smith, M.D. attended Indiana University in Bloomington, IN, where he earned a B.A. double major in Biology and Chemistry(1986-1990) and ranked 7th out of 1538 graduates. Following his undergraduate degree, he moved to Durham, NC, to attend Duke University where he received his M.D. (1990-1994). He completed his internship at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke VA (1994-1995) and his residency in Dallas, TX at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center – Parkland Memorial Hospital.
