PAUL BENJAMIN PRUETT, MD
Dr. Pruett served as Assistant Professor at Emory University for 5 years. During that time, he also served as Residency Program Director, where he was responsible for training the next generation of ophthalmologists, as well as Chief of Service at Grady Memorial Hospital. He was honored to receive the Thomas Aaberg, Sr., M.D. Clinical Teaching Award three of his five years at Emory.
Dr. Pruett currently provides comprehensive eye care including care of cataracts, dry eyes, and diabetic eye disease. He also specializes in the medical, laser, and surgical treatment of glaucoma.

EDUCATION & TRAINING
Dr. Pruett attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where he majored in Biochemistry and Cellular and Molecular Biology. Following his undergraduate degree, he attended medical school at Emory University where he graduated magna cum laude. Dr. Pruett completed his internship and ophthalmology residency at Emory University. He was privileged to serve as Chief Resident during his final year of residency. Dr. Pruett also completed a year of fellowship in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma at Emory.
