Light Adjustable Lens™
What is the Light Adjustable Lens™?
The Light Adjustable Lens™ is the first and only lens that can be adjusted after cataract surgery-because your vision should be exactly the way you want it. Imagine being able to refine your vision after you've experienced it. Now you can with the Light Adjustable Lens™.
Fixed & Adjustable Lenses
Artificial lenses fall into two basic categories: fixed and adjustable. Your doctor can help you decide which is right for you!
- Fixed: A fixed lens cannot be adjusted after surgery. Your surgeon relies on pre-surgery measurements to estimate what lens power they believe will provide you with your best vision. If it's not quite right, additional surgery or glasses may be necessary.
- Adjustable: The Light Adjustable Lens™ can be adjusted after surgery, giving you the flexibility to experience your vision and then refine it with specialized light treatments so it's right for you.
