Baptist Eye Surgeons Welcomes Dr. Bobby Douglas

Dr. Bobby Douglas will be joining Baptist Eye Surgeons at the Morristown location in August, 2019. Dr. Douglas earned his medical degree from the James H. Quillen College of Medicine

in Johnson City, TN, in 2015. He completed his internship and residency in ophthalmology in 2019 at Baylor Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX.

Dr. Douglas’s specialties include:

Prior to pursuing his doctorate degree in medicine, Dr. Douglas attended Carson-Newman College on an academic scholarship. He then served in the U.S. Army, deploying twice to Iraq, before pursuing his doctorate degree in medicine at James H. Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City, TN.

Dr. Douglas is dedicated to serving others both in and out of the medical office. He provided much-needed ophthalmic services on a mission trip to Haiti in 2017. When not seeing patients at Baptist Eye Surgeons or working with the community, Dr. Douglas enjoys spending time with God, family, and friends. He also enjoys running, hiking, traveling, and being outdoors.
